Kelli J. Pearson Owner | Queen of Arts

Kelli started her graphic design career after graduating from college in 1982 with a BA in Commercial Graphic Design. Kelli’s 25+ years of experience includes the creation of corporate branding, custom illustration advertising, web development, 3D graphics, 3D animation, cell animation, Graphical User Interface design, as well as the creation of these ever so popular cartography/caricature maps.

In the early to mid 90's, Kelli was the Lead Artist with Sega of America, ESPN 2 Games, and MAXIS. While at MAXIS, she played a significant role in the development of the # 1 selling video and computer game SimCity2000. In 2000, she combined her creative background with her solid business sense by founding DownTown2.com, located in downtown Pleasanton (the company that created city cartoon maps, such as; Pleasanton, Livermore, Walnut Creek and Petaluma. Now owner and founder of DesignCo Marketing & MapCo Marketing, she is excited to bring to you a local Design firm that will help make your business thrive.

Tan Nguyen Senior Art Manager

Tan Nguyen is the latest member of our team. He will be responsible for directing and managing our art and production department. At a young age he developed a passion for sketching. If there was a pencil or ball point pen in his hand there was no blank surface safe from his doodling. Tired of the crayon decorated walls and table tops defaced with super hero sketches, Tan's parents got him a computer. He defaced that too. More importantly, the computer introduced Tan to a new set of tools to create artwork with. Stick figures on paper napkins gradually progressed into two page layouts with plenty of white space. Since then, Tan has progressed toward web design and web development taking courses in digital arts and web programming with aspirations to make this passion his career.

Besides drawing and graphic design, Tan's other interests include technology, physical fitness, and cooking. He listens to NPR at the gym.

Doug brings nearly 50 years of experience in the printing industry to the company and joins DesignCo Marketing from Creative Services where he served as Owner/ President. Doug also served as Owner/ CEO of Ceres Litho located in Palo Alto CA, a full print & publication business. Doug's experience in the printing industry is extensive and includes knowledge of Offset, Web and Sheet Fed Presses.

When asked about his primary goals, Doug will tell you that service to his customers is at the top of the list.

Doug received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
